A Library of Unread Books

There are so many books waiting in my want-to-read list. I’ll just give you a handful at random.

Absolution: A Southern Reach Novel by Jeff Vandermeer

a fourth installment in the rather unsettling Area x/Southern Reach series.

Katabasis: A Novel by R. F. Kuang

I did not think I would enjoy Kuang’s previous novel, Babel: Or the Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators’ Revolution but I gave it a shot and it was a fairly enjoyable read.

The Murder at World’s End: A Novel by Ross Montgomery

I’m looking for a change of pace. I enjoy mysteries so I think I’ll give this a go.

The Intrigue by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

I have enjoyed everything I have read by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.

The Faith of Beasts by James SA Corey

This is the second installment in the current series by James SA Corey, The Captive’s War. I’ll be honest with you, I did not enjoy the first entry, The Mercy of Gods as well as I enjoyed The Expanse, but since I’ve already read the first book in the series I feel compelled to see it through.

The Heritage of Anglican Theology by J. I. Packer

I have actually owned this for a while and it is one of those books I keep saying that I’ll get around to reading.
