Personal Reflections
Pastor Simpson does not follow the Revised Common Lectionary; or any other lectionary as far as I can tell. For this reason the lessons I have included in this blog post will not reflect what the congregation heard in the service this morning. Although it would be my preference to follow the RCL, I don’t mind his choice of lessons, so long as they include a Gospel reading. Today the pastor’s selections included Jonah 3:1–10 and John 21:15–19. His sermon was titled God of a Second Chance.

Amen.
