What’s your home decoration style?

I don’t have a defined home decoration style. I’m not a traditionalist. I’m not a modernist. I’m not a minimalist. Thankfully, I’m not a hoarder. In fact it is fair to say that I’m not decorative at all. Everything I purchase prioritizes functionality over aesthetics.

I do try to maintain general color coordination within individual rooms. For example: I don’t put my neon green tiger stripes right beside my pastel pink awning stripes, but there is no unified color theory to my home. Most things are pretty neutral. There’s a spectrum of grey, to taupe, to tan in my living room.

I am what the rich people like to call “economically challenged”.  I call it being broke. Although, I hear that we used to be middle class before we were just plain old poor. I don’t really have the budget to worry about designer textiles or high-end appointments.
