Reflection
The Rector of my Church is on vacation with his family this week. He told us during the service last week that he himself, his wife, their children and his parents — six people, will all travel together in one SUV on an inter-state road trip. That sounds … cozy.
I do not share the theological positions of the priest who will substitute for our rector today. He is a lovely man, sweet and kind; however, he does lean somewhat towards the charismatic, which I find distressing. I think, therefore, that on this Lord’s Day, I will visit the people at my old church.
