A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is a fast-paced, Tony Award-winning musical comedy full of charm, wit, and (quite a bit of) murder!
Directed by Olivia Hartle
Music Director: Travis Rigby
Associate Director/Choreographer: Jonathan Parker
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder follows the story of Monty Navarro, a penniless clerk who discovers he’s eighth in line to inherit a wealthy family’s earldom… and sets out to eliminate the others standing in his way. With hilarious consequences, catchy tunes, and one actor playing all eight doomed relatives, this show is a delightful blend of murder, manners, and music.
We arrived at the theater shortly before the scheduled showtime and the house was packed. Admittedly it is not a large venue by any estimate, but we see quite a few productions here and I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many theater-goers.
The show was outstanding. It was clever and funny. The singing was really good.
