Battlestar Galactica, the final season on SyFy

The fourth season of Battlestar Galactica is finally here. SyFy claims final season will be an action packed conclusion with no filler episodes.

The final season of Battlestar Galactica has begun. I’m disappointed that this will be the end of one of my all time favorite television series, but I’m exited to see how it all plays out. It’s good to have Katee Sackhoff return as Starbuck (even if she is eventually revealed to be a psychotic cylon).

SyFy claims that this will be a no holds barred, action packed season of Battlestar Galactica with no filler episodes. Thank goodness for that. there were some pretty terrible episodes in season three. Considering the state of the series at that point, I’m glad that no further harm can be done to what was once the best show on television.

According to “well-informed sources” The final episode of Battlestar Galactica will run three hours, which extends the second half of Season four to 11 hours rather than the originally planned 10 hour run-time. Additionally, it seems that at least one additional movie similar to Battlestar Galactica: Razor will be produced.

Unfortunately, this is already going to be a short season due to the WGA writers’ strike AND there is going to yet another mid-season break. It is unfortunate that such an acclaimed series has been interrupted with these annoying mid-season breaks.
